Multi-generational farmers, the FARMpay founders have lived the experience of many grain growers: Selling a large amount of grain to a buyer with payment delayed for months and lack of transparency over the grain supply chain.

That stressful time highlighted the problems too many farmers face selling grain on-farm: wearing all the risk once the assets leave the farm-gate and dealing with a hampered cashflow.

Combining their understanding of the challenges faced by growers and buyers and extensive knowledge of the agribusiness sector, they turned their attention to finding a better way of selling grain on-farm and the FARMPay agricultural supply chain platform was born.
